Skills for success: SME roundtable

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bath and North East Somerset are invited to attend the ‘Skills for Success’ SME Roundtable on Thursday, 12 June 2025, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM at Agency UK, Beehive Yard, Bath.

Organised by the Western Training Provider Network (WTPN), this free event aims to explore how apprenticeships can support business growth, skills development, and innovation.

The roundtable offers a platform for SME leaders to engage in open discussions about their experiences with apprenticeships, sharing both successes and challenges. Attendees will gain practical insights into building motivated, skilled teams through apprenticeships and learn about benefits such as no recruitment fees, exemption from employer National Insurance contributions, and access to fully funded, high-quality training.

A highlight of the event is a keynote address by Laura Gemmell from Taught By Humans, who will provide a thought-provoking perspective on how artificial intelligence is reshaping business and skills for the future.

Whether you’re currently employing apprentices or considering how they might benefit your business, this event offers valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange best practices, and address shared challenges. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your business’s resilience and adaptability through apprenticeships.
