This autumn, homeowners with sustainble homes from across B&NES are opening their doors to visitors who are interested in learning how they too could reduce their energy costs and make their home more environmentally friendly.
In an expansion of last years’ event, homes are being opened in Peasedown St John, Chew Valley, Radstock, Pensford, East Harptree and in central Bath.
People from across Bath and North East Somerset are invited to come along to see energy efficient homes and hear directly from the home owners how they have implemented changes, from small actions like draught proofing, to putting in solar panels and Air Source Heat Pumps.
These friendly and informative events are part of the Green Open Homes B&NES communities project, aimed at inspiring sustainable living. The project is a partnership between organisations from across the local community, aimed at supporting the region’s ambitions to reach net zero and give all residents a high standard of living.
