This weekend on 2nd March, from 2-4pm, local residents will be welcomed into their brand new arts centre at the Old Printworks in Radstock.
Part of the work of the Culture and Creativity FAB strand, led by Professor Sue Rigby at Bath Spa University, the new arts centre provides a space for local people to gather and take part in creative workshops, opportunities for exhibitions or for Bath galleries to go ‘on tour’, as well as providing Sunday night drop-ins for teenagers, music recording space, space for parents with young children to craft while building networks and friendships, and on the top floor space for artists in residence.
Ruby Sant who is creating the space said: “This Saturday pop in for some cake and a chance to do some crafting – children are very welcome! We look forward to seeing you.”
