Have your say on Midsomer town centre

Bath & North East Somerset Council, in collaboration with Midsomer Norton Town Council, is inviting residents and businesses to contribute to the future of Midsomer Norton town centre.

The Midsomer Norton Town Centre Plan focuses on revitalising the Old Brewery Quarter and enhancing the wider high street area. Proposed improvements include upgraded public spaces, building refurbishments, and increased greenery.

Community feedback is being gathered through a series of open studio events held in the Hollies chamber, adjacent to the library on Midsomer Norton High Street. These sessions offer attendees the opportunity to view design proposals and participate in creative family activities led by artists-in-residence Jo Slade and Steve Griffiths.

For those unable to attend in person, an online survey is available on the IMAGINE Midsomer Norton website, open until Thursday, 29 May.

This initiative is part of a broader £750,000 investment from the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority’s Housing and Regeneration Enabling Fund, aimed at supporting town centre regeneration across the region. Residents are encouraged to participate and help shape a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable future for Midsomer Norton.
